The Islands
	Pacific Rim National Park Reserve The exposed Pacific coast of Vancouver Island provides the spectacular features; sand beaches, an island archipelago, old-growth coastal temperate rainforest, and significant archaeological sites.
	Gulf Islands National Park Reserve Gulf Islands National Park protects a portion of BC’s beautiful southern Gulf Islands. The park resembles a patchwork quilt of protected lands scattered over 15 larger islands, and many smaller islets and reefs.
Kootenay Rockies
	Mount Revelstoke National Park Mount Revelstoke National Park is a place of contrasts. From dense old-growth rainforest of giant 1,000-year-old red cedars and pine, travel up through subalpine forest, and finally alpine meadows and tundra.
	Kootenay National Park Kootenay occupies the southwestern slopes of the Rockies, part of the Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage Site, protecting glacier-clad peaks to semi-arid grasslands, where even cactus grows.
	Glacier National Park Glacier National Park is characterized by steep, angular mountains, deep, narrow valleys, numerous icefields and glaciers, waterfalls, countless avalanche paths, and tremendous precipitation.
	Yoho National Park Yoho occupies the western slopes of the Rocky Mountains, a place of rock walls, spectacular waterfalls and soaring peaks, holding the secrets of ancient ocean life and the power of ice and water.
Northern BC and Haida Gwaii
	Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve Gwaii Haanas represents the Pacific Coast Mountains Terrestrial Region, the Hecate Strait and West Queen Charlotte Marine Regions of Canada, and is designated as a Haida Heritage Site.
